I love this carol. It is one of those wonderful, joyous Christmas melodies that is almost as old as the hills. It has been sung and passed down from generation to generation for well over five-hundred years. Who can say how old the tune really is? It has had many words, Resonet in Laudibus, Joseph Lieber, Christ was Born . . . 

I hope you enjoy my version,  inspired by Christmas processionals I’ve seen performed. The minus track uses many of my own hand-crafted, sampled instruments. I’ve provided two different lead sheets, for a choice in which words you use. I think this would be wonderful for unison choir, soloists or a combination of the two.
