I found this awesome illustration for the “The Story of King Frost” and had to share it. King Frost, or Morozko, is the Russian equivalent of Old Man Winter or Jack Frost. In the secular tradition, when the Communism attempted to drown out Christmas, Ded Moroz or Grandfather Frost was used as a substitute for Santa.
