The Story Of King Frost with Illustration

I found this awesome illustration for the “The Story of King Frost” and had to share it. King Frost, or Morozko, is the Russian equivalent of Old Man Winter or Jack Frost. In the secular tradition, when the Communism attempted to drown out Christmas, Ded Moroz or Grandfather Frost was used as a substitute for Santa. As you can see from the following story, being rude to King Frost carries a significantly more dreadful consequence than getting coal in your stocking . . . more »
