Have you got too many people on your list to keep track of? I find my self in a similar situation with my 365 days of Christmas project. I keep getting ideas, and I made a sub-goal to do something with 12 carols a month, as part of the larger project. Enter the sticky note:

I put each carol I wanted to do something with on a sticky note and put all 144 carols (with a few blank spaces left) on my magnet board (which I rarely use magnets on). Every time I do one of the carols I move it to the right side of the board. This way I can keep track of what I’ve done and what I still have left to do.

I was thinking you might adapt this to your Christmas gift or Christmas card list.
