I came across this set of old, scratched up glass ball ornaments at a thrift store and thought, ‘I can do something with these.”

I made a large batch of homemade papers last summer and with some glue (thinned down to half strength) I set about the reclamation. Stips of paper and glue, that’s all there is to it.  Here’s the first completed ornament, still wet:

I just finished this new “Joyful Christmas Tree" mixed media piece. The image uses tissue paper, various acrylic paints and inks, beads and crackle medium.
